Vienna is the northern gateway to Slovenia and Croatia: about four hours by road to Ljubljana or Zagreb. We drive from your hotel or Vienna Airport south through Styria and across the border, door to door.
Ljubljana and Zagreb are both about 370–380 km from Vienna by motorway, around four hours of driving. The A2 runs south past Graz; from there the road continues to Maribor and either west to Ljubljana or south-east to Zagreb.
Direct trains to both cities exist, but connections are limited and the journey takes around six hours or more. A private transfer takes you door to door in about four hours of driving, with room for a break in Graz or Maribor and no change of trains with luggage.
Vienna Airport (VIE) at Schwechat is south-east of the city. If you land there, we can collect you at arrivals and drive straight south without going into Vienna.
