From the Venetian lagoon to the Julian Alps in a single drive of about three hours and ten minutes — off the causeway, east across the Veneto and Friuli plain, into Slovenia and north past Ljubljana to your hotel in Bled, in a private car from Piazzale Roma, a Mestre hotel, Marco Polo Airport or your cruise berth.
Drive from Venice to Lake Bled in about 3h 10m without stops. Private transfer priced on request per vehicle — tell us where to meet you (Piazzale Roma, Tronchetto, a Mestre address, Marco Polo Airport or the cruise berth), your address in Bled and whether you would like a cave, a lunch in Ljubljana or a mountain road on the way.
No car can enter the historic centre, so the drive begins at Piazzale Roma, the last point a vehicle reaches, or at Tronchetto, linked to it by the People Mover. Reaching Piazzale Roma from a hotel in the centre is your part of the trip; hotels in Mestre are collected at the door.
Over the Ponte della Libertà to the mainland, round Mestre and east on the A4 across the plain at the head of the Adriatic towards the Slovenian border.
The one border of the trip, inside the Schengen area. Police checks or temporary border controls may occur, so every passenger should keep a passport or national ID card within reach; allow some flexibility in journey time.
Postojna Cave lies beside the A1 motorway and the UNESCO-listed Škocjan Caves are a comparable short detour. Plan time for the cave visit on top of the driving.
The motorway passes Ljubljana, so lunch in the Slovenian capital breaks up the drive well. Radovljica’s old town is practically on the way, just before Bled.
Into the town of Bled for a drop-off at your hotel, guesthouse or apartment. If you are staying on the lake shore, include the exact address in your request.
Per vehicle, not per person. Every quote includes tolls, fuel, the cross-border route, assistance with loading and unloading luggage, and child seats available on request.

Cross-border route handled. Passengers remain responsible for their own passports, visas and other travel documents.
Short photo stops may be included where operationally possible

A private transfer is the single-vehicle option: from Piazzale Roma, Marco Polo Airport or your cruise berth straight to your door in Bled, luggage in the car throughout.
Italy and Slovenia are both in the Schengen area, so this is an internal border, but police checks or temporary border controls may occur when you cross. Every passenger should carry a valid passport or national ID card and keep it within reach; allow some flexibility in journey time.
