Slovenia’s capital to Croatia’s most photographed national park — 16 lakes connected by waterfalls in a karst valley. About 227 km via the A1 motorway and the Slovenian/Croatian border at Obrežje. Door-to-door, one driver.
Plitvice Lakes National Park (UNESCO, 1979) is Croatia’s oldest and largest national park — 16 terraced lakes connected by waterfalls in a forested karst valley. From Ljubljana it’s about 227 km south-east via the A1 motorway, the Obrežje border crossing into Croatia, the A1 / D1 connector through Karlovac and the final 50 km of regional road to the park entrance.
There are two main park entrances: Entrance 1 (lower lakes, big waterfall) and Entrance 2 (upper lakes, longer trails). We drop at the entrance you specify, or your hotel in Mukinje / Plitvička Jezera. Park tickets are not included — bought at the entrance ticket office. The drive itself is straightforward motorway plus 50 km of well-surfaced regional road.
Per vehicle, not per person. All-inclusive — fuel, tolls, border crossing, English-speaking driver, door-to-door.
