From the airport straight to Himarë is roughly 213 km and 3h 35m of driving, so there is no need to go into Tirana first — mention the airport pickup and your flight number in your request. Himarë → Tirana →Himarë lies on the Albanian Riviera, about 215 km south of Tirana by road. The drive starts on fast roads: west on the SH2 towards Durrës, south on the SH4 through Rrogozhinë and Lushnjë, and on the A2 motorway from Fier to Vlorë. From Vlorë the route follows the bay past Orikum, continues via Dukat and the Llogara area, and drops to the coast past Dhërmi before the last stretch of the SH8 to Himarë. Allow about 3h 40m without stops.
Direct coaches operate between Tirana and Himarë on the Tirana–Sarandë coast line, which also stops at other Riviera villages on the way; check the current timetable before travelling. A private transfer is the door-to-door option — useful with luggage or children, straight from Tirana Airport, or when you want to see Apollonia or Vlorë on the way down.
