Tirana International Airport (TIA/Rinas) is north of the city, so it is actually closer to Shkodër — about 85 km, 1h 45m. We meet you at arrivals with a name sign, flight tracking and 60 minutes free waiting, then drive you straight north.

From Tirana the drive is easy and quick — north on the A1 motorway, past Lezhë, along the edge of Lake Shkodër, roughly 100 km in about two hours.

From Shkodër it is another ~2h to Theth over the paved SH21, or to the Koman ferry terminal for the fjord-like boat ride toward Valbonë. No — Shkodër is in Albania, so this is a domestic transfer with no border stop. The Montenegro border at Muriqan is beyond Shkodër if you continue on to Ulcinj or Podgorica.
