From Bulgaria’s capital north-west to Serbia’s, in about 4h 25m of driving. Out of Sofia on the A6, over the border at Kalotina–Gradina, then the A4 through Pirot to Niš and the A1 up to Belgrade — a private car from your Sofia hotel, address or Sofia Airport to your door.
Sofia to Belgrade takes about 4h 25m behind the wheel, with the border on top. Private transfer priced on request per vehicle, door-to-door — send us your Sofia pickup, your Belgrade address and any stop in Pirot or Niš you have in mind.
We collect you from your hotel or address in Sofia, or from Sofia Airport (SOF) east of the city. The A6 “Evropa” motorway leads west towards the Serbian border.
Here you leave the Schengen area. Kalotina–Gradina is an EU external border with passport control on both sides; non-EU travellers may be registered under the EU Entry/Exit System on the way out. Allow some flexibility in journey time.
Past Dimitrovgrad the A4 reaches Pirot, whose fortress, Momčilov grad, stands next to the motorway: an easy first break once the border is behind you.
Serbia’s southern city sits at the motorway junction, with the Skull Tower (Ćele kula) on its eastern edge as you arrive and the Ottoman fortress in the centre. A good lunch stop before the long run north.
The A1 (E75) brings you north into the Serbian capital. Drop-off at your hotel or address in Belgrade, or at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG), about 16 km west of the centre.
Per vehicle, not per person. Every quote includes tolls, fuel, the cross-border route, assistance with loading and unloading luggage, and child seats available on request.

Belgrade → Sofia →The road from Sofia to Belgrade is about 395 km. The border comes first in this direction: the A6 runs west from Sofia to Kalotina, and on the Serbian side the A4 (E80) continues west through Dimitrovgrad and Pirot to Niš. From Niš the A1 (E75) motorway carries you north for the longer second half to Belgrade. Plan on roughly 4h 25m of driving, with the border and any breaks on top.
