The longest run inside our Montenegrin cluster — 102 km from the capital through the Sozina tunnel, down the Riviera, past Tivat and over the Verige strait on the ferry to Herceg Novi. Around two hours twenty.
Drive from Podgorica to Herceg Novi in about 2h 20m. Private transfer from €90 per vehicle, all-inclusive — fuel, English-speaking driver, door-to-door.
Pickup anywhere in the capital, or at Podgorica Airport (TGD). The road heads south across the Zeta plain towards Skadar Lake.
The road runs along the northern shore of Skadar Lake past Virpazar, then through the four-kilometre Sozina tunnel under the coastal range and out at Sutomore on the Adriatic.
North along the coast past Petrovac, Sveti Stefan and Budva, then through Tivat to the ferry slip at Lepetane. Tivat Airport is directly on this stretch.
Over the Verige narrows, where the bay closes to a few hundred metres. The crossing takes about ten minutes and saves driving the long way round the inner bay.
Drop-off at your address, the Old Town below Kanli Kula, or Igalo. The town is steep, so a street address gets you closer than a district name.
Per vehicle, not per person. All prices include tolls, fuel, luggage handling, water, and child seats on request.
Picked up and dropped off at your exact address
Motorway tolls covered, no extras
Short photo stops may be included where operationally possible

Traveling the other way? Herceg Novi to Podgorica is the same route in reverse.
Book Herceg Novi → Podgorica →Podgorica to Herceg Novi is a hundred and two kilometres and a little over two hours — the capital to the far end of the Bay of Kotor, crossing most of coastal Montenegro on the way. It is the longest relation in this local cluster and the one where having a driver rather than three connections actually saves the afternoon.
The route leaves Podgorica across the Zeta plain, skirts Skadar Lake past Virpazar, and takes the Sozina tunnel under the coastal range to reach the Adriatic at Sutomore. From there it is the coast road north through Petrovac, Sveti Stefan, Budva and Tivat.
The last section crosses the mouth of Boka Kotorska on the Lepetane ferry, a ten-minute hop over the Verige narrows. The alternative is to stay on the road and go round the inner bay through Perast and Risan, which is longer but is the better drive if you have the time and want a stop.
Because the route passes Tivat Airport and runs the length of the Riviera, it combines easily. Virpazar at the lake and Perast on the bay are the two stops that fit naturally; either one turns the transfer into most of a day, so agree it at booking rather than on the road.
Herceg Novi sits in terraces at the mouth of the bay, with Kanli Kula above the Old Town and Igalo, the spa quarter, immediately west.
