From the Danube in Budapest to the Danube in Belgrade in about four hours of driving. South across the Great Hungarian Plain on the M5, over the Serbian border at Röszke–Horgoš and down the A1 past Subotica and Novi Sad — a private car from your Budapest hotel, address or Budapest Airport to your door in Belgrade.
Drive from Budapest to Belgrade in about 4h 05m, plus time at the border. Private transfer priced on request per vehicle, door-to-door — tell us where to collect you in Budapest or at the airport, where you are staying in Belgrade, and whether you would like a break in Szeged, Subotica or Novi Sad.
Pickup from your hotel or address in Buda or Pest, or from Budapest Airport (BUD). The route leaves Pest to the south-east along Üllői út and joins the M5 motorway.
The first town of any size on the M5, right beside the motorway. A short detour into the centre makes an early coffee break on the plain.
The M5 passes west of Szeged, the last Hungarian city before the border. A stop in the centre adds just under half an hour of driving, plus the time you spend there.
The M5 meets the Serbian A1 at an EU external border, with passport control on both sides. Every passenger carries a valid passport (or an ID card where the nationality allows it). Allow some flexibility in journey time.
The first Serbian city after the border, a short way off the A1. Its centre makes a natural break once you are through passport control.
The A1 runs outside the centre of the Vojvodina capital, so a lunch stop by the Danube costs about 17 minutes of extra driving plus your time there.
South of Novi Sad the A1 joins the A3 near Dobanovci and runs into the city. Drop-off at your hotel or address in Belgrade, or at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG), which is reached before the city on this approach.
Per vehicle, not per person. Every quote includes tolls, fuel, the cross-border route, assistance with loading and unloading luggage, and child seats available on request.

Every passenger carries a valid passport (or an ID card where the nationality allows it). Non-EU travellers may be registered under the EU Entry/Exit System on the Schengen side. Allow some flexibility in journey time.
