Treviso’s Canova Airport is in Treviso, not Venice — about 41 km from the lagoon. Your driver meets you in arrivals and takes the A27 and the Mestre bypass to the Ponte della Libertà and Piazzale Roma, the city’s car terminal.
Your arrival at Treviso and the motorway run south to Venice.
Collect your bags and come out into the arrivals area of the terminal, where your driver meets you. From Via Noalese the road loops round Treviso, joins the A27 motorway south, follows the A57 Tangenziale di Mestre and crosses the lagoon on the Ponte della Libertà.
Check which airport your ticket names: Marco Polo (VCE) and Treviso (TSF) both serve Venice, and from Treviso the drive is about twice as long. If you are landing at Marco Polo, see our Venice Airport to Venice page.
Your driver meets you in arrivals and loads the bags. The route skirts Treviso on its ring road, then takes the SR89 Treviso Mare to the A27. About 41 km, roughly 40 minutes.
Past Mestre on the A57, the Ponte della Libertà carries you to Piazzale Roma, the car terminal where the road ends. The historic centre is reached from there on foot or by water — an ACTV vaporetto or a private water taxi. Hotels in Mestre are on the mainland, so a Mestre address can be the drop-off itself.
Several buses leave from outside the arrivals area: ATVO to Piazzale Roma and Mestre, the Barzi Service bus, and the MOM Treviso AirLink to Treviso Centrale station, where trains continue to Venezia Santa Lucia. Check the current timetable before travelling. A private car makes sense when you land with heavy bags or children, travel as a group, or come in late: one vehicle from the arrivals hall to Piazzale Roma or your Mestre hotel, with no change at Treviso station on the way.
Priced on request, per vehicle rather than per passenger. Your written quote covers the drive, tolls and fuel, the pickup timed to your flight and 60 minutes of free waiting.
We monitor reported flight delays and adjust the pickup time accordingly. Sixty minutes of waiting after actual landing are included.

Trieste, Ljubljana, Lake Bled, the Istrian coast and Zagreb all start from the same Venice hub, with pickups at Piazzale Roma, Mestre or the airports.
About 41 km by road to Piazzale Roma, roughly 40 minutes without traffic. The route uses the A27 motorway, the A57 Tangenziale di Mestre and the Ponte della Libertà across the lagoon.
