From the Stari Most to the most photographed village on the Bay of Kotor — Perast, with the twin islets of Our Lady of the Rocks and Sveti Đorđe just offshore. Roughly 170 km via the Trebinje route, two border crossings.
Perast is a baroque village built into a steep slope on the inner Bay of Kotor, 12 km north-west of Kotor town. It’s most famous for the two islets just offshore — Our Lady of the Rocks (man-made, with its 17th-century church) and Sveti Đorđe (natural). From Mostar the standard route runs south through Trebinje, crosses into Montenegro at the Klobuk border, then descends to the bay through Risan and Kostanjica to Perast.
Drop-off anywhere in Perast — the waterfront promenade, your guesthouse, or the small pier where the taxi-boats to Our Lady of the Rocks depart (fare paid separately). Continue to Kotor (12 km) afterwards on request.
